Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über ethnographische Bildungsforschung mit Schwerpunkt auf Spanien, die USA und das Vereinigte Königreich. [Redaktion Bildung Weltweit].
"Traditionally it hasn't been paid enough attention to the anthropological and ethnographical approaches in the educational field. However, these matters are generating a lot of interest and expectation nowdays. The purpose of this work is to show a general view in this matter. In this paper the origin and development of Educational Anthropology and Ethnography are analysed. The progress from classic anthropological perspectives to more interpretive and symbolic approaches is presented. We also suggest some emergent directions of educational ethnography in United States and Great Britain. Finally, some of the most outstanding Spanish publications in this area are mentioned. We think that, in future, we should devote more time and energy to write and research into this important area." [Abstract: Site editor's information].
