"The theme of the VI International Meeting for Inclusive Education was 'And what about ethics?' It took place from May 27th to 29th 2010. The strategies and measures that characterise the transition from integration to inclusion were analysed taking into special account the values ​​and attitudes that promote their realisation.
Some of the topics dealt with in workshops, conferences, dialogue tables and exhibitions were: ethical considerations on educational and cultural policy, new approaches to transforming practices and experiences with regard to processes of integration and inclusion.
Around 250 experts from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Venezuela took part in the event. The organisers were the State Open University of Costa Rica and the "International Network of Researchers and Participants for Educational Integration (RED-RIIE)."
