The Institute for Educational Quality Improvement (IQB) was founded in 2004 as part of Humboldt University Berlin. Key tasks of the IQB are operationalization and monitoring of educational standards, the development of testing assignments, as well as supporting the federal states in their development of educational quality and the co-ordination of coverage in the field of educational quality.
