The Volcano Park in the district of Mayen-Koblenz is part of the National Geopark Volcanic Eifel. The park offers a Volcanic Information Center in Plaidt/Saffig, the roman mine Meurin in Kretz/Kruft, the Lava Dome with Lava Cellars at Mendig, the Geysir-Andernach with its Edutainment-Center, Terra Vulcania in Mayen and the german pumice Museum and a lot of volcanic, archaeological and industrial sightseeing and information on people`s lives with volcanic materials for over 7.000 years.
