The Lynch School of Education at Boston College conducts the TIMSS and PIRLS studies for the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA). Therefore, this website and the IEA's website provide the most comprehensive information on TIMSS and PIRLS.
The Lynch School of Education's website offers information on the studies TIMSS (mathematics and science achievement at years four and eight) and TIMSS advanced (advanced mathematics and physics in the final year of secondary school) from 1995 as well as PIRLS (reading comprehension at year 4) and prePIRLS (less difficult version of PIRLS in year four, five or six) from 2001 onwards.
