Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Equally necessary for achieving these goals and shaping a sustainable society is a focus on the eight key competencies for lifelong learning formulated by the EU. The Erasmus+ project THINKIDS has developed interdisciplinary teaching materials that combine both through authentic learning and thus enable the structured teaching of future-relevant skills in early childhood and primary school education. The THINKIDS materials offer: Structured teaching of relevant future skills along the SDGs in early childhood and primary education; Authentic learning from early childhood to primary school age; Free educational materials and accompanying information.
