The Baltic Sea Project (BSP) is the first regional Project within UNESCO Associated Schools Project to combine environmental education on a specific environmental issue, the Baltic Sea and intercultural learning. The purpose of the Baltic Sea Project is to awaken young people`s interest in environmental issues and environmental protection, to develop their sense of responsibility for the environment. Schools from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Sweden take part in the project.
