UNESCO adopts first global convention on higher education and recommendation on Open Educational Resource

On 25 November 2019, UNESCO's General Conference adopted the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education and a Recommendation on Open Educational Resources, two international normative instruments for education. They are the first international agreement of the United Nations in the field of higher education.
