Today, 21 March 2025: German Education Server symposium on citizenship (with livestream) [only in German]
As part of the campaign week "Citizenship and Democracy - let's do it together", the German Education Server is organising a symposium on 21 March on the topic of "Democracy Education and Social Cohesion - What Can We Do Better?" at the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The keynote speech "Democracy Education and Social Cohesion: Highlights and Research Fields" by Prof Dr Annika Wilmers from Frankfurt UAS (Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences) will be livestreamed via Zoom.
Afterwards, we will take a look at projects and initiatives that promote citizenship education and strengthen social cohesion in panels and discussion rounds. Together, we want to discuss which measures have been successful, which approaches can be further improved and how knowledge can be successfully transferred to practice.
The symposium will be held in German only.
