Gender and Technology 2024: further special edition of the Unesco Global Education Monitoring 2023 published

Unesco's Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM) is supplemented with special thematic reports in subsequent months. A special edition on gender and technology has now been published for the GEM Report 2023. On the one hand, it examines the impact of technology on girls' educational opportunities and outcomes. Secondly, the report looks at the role of education in shaping future technological development. One of the findings of the report is the fact that the proportion of women among STEM graduates is 35% and has not changed in the last 10 years.
