Das wirtschafts- und sozialpolitische Forschungs- und Beratungszentrum der FES besteht aus den drei Abteilungen Wirtschaftspolitik, Arbeit und Sozialpolitik sowie Technik und Gesellschaft. Ziel ist es, wissenschaftliche Ergebnisse für die Politikberatung nutzbar zu machen und den Dialog zwischen Politik, Wissenschaft und Praxis zu fördern. Die hierzu eingerichteten Gesprächs- und Arbeitskreise werden örtlich flexibel - je nach Zielsetzung und Interesse - angeboten.
