The Research Center for Science Communication (RCS) emerged from the Rhetoric Department of Tübingen University, is headed by Prof Dr Olaf Kramer and coordinates both science communication research and the science communication training program at the University of Tübingen. The center initiates and conducts research and practical projects, supports research and practical projects in applying for third-party funding, bundles the University of Tübingen's training courses in science communication, offers and (further) develops interdisciplinary teaching formats to build skills in the field of science communication, organizes encounters and exchanges of interdisciplinary expertise, promotes initiatives in the area of public engagement and provides infrastructures for the promotion of early career researchers.
