CENIDE , the Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen, was founded in 2005 by members of the physics, chemistry and engineering departments as a framework for the diverse nano-activities at the University. The main goal is to promote interdisciplinary education as well as communication and collaboration among the different groups working in nanoscience and technology and industrial partners.
