Die vorliegende Publikation fasst die Ergebnisse eines Projektes von 2003 zusammen, welches für 118 Flüchtlingslager in 23 Ländern 5 Bildungsindikatoren angewendet an. Diese Indikatoren waren: * Prozentsatz an Bevölkerung zwischen 5 und 17 Jahren, die an einer Schule eingeschrieben sind (m/w) * Prozentsatz an Schülern, die erfolgreich das Schuljahr abgeschlossen haben (m/w) * Lehrer-Schüler-Relation * Prozentsatz an qualifizierten oder ausgebildeten Lehrern (m/w) * Prozentsatz an Schulen, die strukturierte Initiativen zur Bindung von Mädchen an die Schule und ihre weitere Bildung haben. Die Projektergebnisse geben Auskunft darüber, wie Schulen und Bildungsinitiativen in Flüchtlingslagern bei diesen Indikatoren abschneiden und welche Abweichung sie zu Standardzahlen in den genannten Bereichen haben. This publication summarizes the results of a project run in 2003, in which 5 education indicators were applied to 118 refugee camps in 23 countries. These indicators were: * Percentage of the population aged 5 to 17 enrolled in school (M/F) * Percentage of students who successfully completed the school year (M/F) * Student to teacher ratio * Percentage qualified or trained teachers (M/F) * Percentage of schools with structured retention initiatives for girls. The project results inform you about how schools and education initiatives in refugee camps scored and how big the gap is between their results and standard percentage.
