Europe
The REDCOM project (Réseau Européen de Dissemination en Éducation Comparée) was carried out by a group of 4 research institutes from different countries and was promoted under the 5th framework program for research and technological development of the European Union. The aim of the project was the improvement of the European perspective of education policy, which a user friendly resources and information platform for the research community, for politicians, analysts, professional associations and organisations should support (www.e-education-europe.org): This platform should build a bridge between researchers, decisive politicians and practitioners. Publications and texts which are available in English, in French (and, less often, in German) deal - mainly in comparative perspective - e.g. with the "Bologna process", the "European research area", "lifelong learning (LLL)" or the "Lisbon process". The project period was from 2004 to 2006.
