RSS allows you to keep informed about the latest developments on your favourite websites, provided that they offer RSS newsfeed.
A modern web browser is needed to use RSS newsfeed - like Firefox - - or a feedreader which you might have to acquire and set up first. In order to subscribe to a newsfeed, you merely need to enter its address into the feedreader. Newsfeed addresses look like web site addresses, and they are transmitted by the same protocol, but they are not designed to be viewed in a web browser window.
