In September 1999, UNESCO headquarters invited a number of international experts to review existing electronic theses and dissertations (ETD) projects, to define the needs of developing countries in this area and to discuss possible international action (further information at: http://www.unesco.org/webworld/etd/). As one of the actions to be taken, it was agreed to set up a clearing house for the exchange of information on ETD in close collaboration with the "Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations" (NDLTD). Please feel free to enter relevant information. All entries are checked and then entered into the DBS databases. A simple retrieval program produces lists of information entered.
